Today I talk with DJ Hanabi from Japan. He will play this year at Wonderland in Germany.
Tell us a bit about yourself! Where where you born and where are you living?
★I was born in Yokohama, Japan I live in Tokyo now.
Why and how did you start with DJing?
★I’ve been dancing in clubs and outside parties since I was 25 I wanted to start something new at the age of 30 and started a longing DJ
What are your musical influences?
★I listened to everything, regardless of genre, but especially liked the music and culture of the 70’s
We as artists have a responsibility towards our audience. What is the keynote that you want to pass on to your listeners, what is your message?
★I hope my music activity will be vitality to someone “Continuation is power” “Keizoku wa chikara nari” This is my favorite Japanese word
When you would start over again, what would you do different?
★I want to start over from a young age so I can interact with many languages
