Ankit Sharda

Tell us a bit about yourself! Where where you born and where are you living? What is the name of your project(s) and why and how did you start with it?

I was born and brought up in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. I’m living in Raipur,Chhattisgarh. Persued Mechanical and automotive design engineering but a musician by heart. I was approached by omiki on Facebook regarding one of my vocals as a result of which our song Krishna was released and was a big hit. After that, I have been approached by several artists for collaborations

What fascinates you about the psytrance culture?

For me, Psytrance is pure love. Everything about Psytrance is fascinating whether its Bassline, Music, food, chai stalls, people from different countries.

What are your musical influences?

Not anyone in particular, I believe we can learn from everyone which is why I always seek ways to learn from different artists.

We as artists have a responsibility towards our audience. What is the keynote that you want to pass on to your listeners, what is your message?

Keep psytrance pure. Stay away from drugs. Enjoy the music and atmosphere. When you get deep into music you’ll find that you don’t need any Lsd for a trip. Music will take you to places.

When you would start over again, what would you do different?

I already have been working on a lot of projects, this time the vocals as well as the music are made by Me for the singles

Please name one piece of your production gear you like and tell us why you like it.

I like mixed in key a lot because of its tempo and key detection. It also gives you a cue points which is very useful while making Dj set. Also I like Samson c01u pro
