The look and feel factor is amazing and starting from its user interface I can only say that simplifies things in a way that I have nearly no cognitive break and can maintain my creative moment. It simply doesn’t kick me out of my „tunnel“. The left to right order on the oscillator and effect chain keeps things handy.
The 4x multimode polymorphic oscillators can be volume controlled and turned off/on with one single rotary knob each one. And they sound great with the different already build in presets. They reach from Classic waveforms, Noise sounds, FM synthesis sound, AMSync, SawPWM, HardFM and finally Vowel sounds. They seem to be selected very wisely to generate a wide range of possible sounds. And they sound great.
I don’t need to mention that the oscillators are unison capable but what I have to mention is that there are different unison modes. The unison Voices can be spread by chords and octaves
And are capable of imitating supersaw, hypersaw, simply different unison types for further unison sound enhancement.
The filter Unit gives you everything essential a subtractive synthesizer plugin needs. And they are going crazy these filters. Namely: Perfecto, Infecto, Acido, Scorpio, Combo, Shaper. You really need to experience it yourself, they are everything but boring. If you want to make your sound scream, here you go, the resonance knob is your friend.
The Stepper can handle multiple Bézier curves amplitudes per step, and the Arpeggiator will give you staccato at its best.
All in all I can say that the combination of all details makes the whole thing a very good choice for your synthesizer collection. The price is justified, and I am happy that I bought the stuff on time. It gave my inspiration the necessary kick to develop more detailed, precise and new sounds. You can think what you want, but if you ask me that’s a killer synth worth every penny. I really caught me using that synth in more than 85% of the channels in my productions. Simply because it is easy to use and sounds spectacular, honestly.
