Universo Paralello is a large-scale psytrance festival that takes place every two years over New Year. Its first festival edition was held in 2000 in Chapada dos Veadeiros; today it spends nine days on the beach at Pratigi, in Bahia. Beyond the dance floors, the program includes workshops, yoga, meditation, a healing area and art installations. The official site bills 2026/27 as the 19th edition, though some guides count differently.

Location

The festival site is on Praia de Pratigi, a beach in the municipality of Ituberá, Bahia, with open-air stages by the sea. The nearest city with an airport is Ilhéus (IOS). Late December falls in the Brazilian summer. Ituberá has introduced an environmental fee (TUPI) of R$ 200 for non-resident attendees, which the organizers have publicly objected to.

Music
