A seven-day psytrance festival in a pine forest near Almonte, Andalusia. The 2026 edition moved from May to 22–28 September; 2027 dates are not announced yet.
Transition is an underground-leaning psytrance festival in the south of Spain. It runs for seven days and keeps the focus on music, forest and camping rather than a large side program. The crowd mixes international visitors with people from Spain, and entry is 18+. For years it was held in early May; in 2026 it moved to late September.
Location
The site is a pine forest about 4 km from Almonte, in Andalusia, close to the Doñana area but outside the national park. Seville is the nearest major city, and Seville airport (SVQ) is the closest. In late September, southern Spain is still warm, at the end of summer.
