Psy-Fi Festival: psytrance festival in the Netherlands

Psy-Fi started in 2013 and grew into one of the larger psytrance festivals in the Netherlands, with attendance reported at around 15,000 in 2015–2017. Since 2019 it has been unstable: editions were cancelled or relocated, and nothing has been announced for 2026 or 2027. This page covers its history and current status rather than serving as a travel guide.

Psy-Fi has moved several times. It began in Groningen in 2013 and moved to Leeuwarden in 2014. A 2024 edition was listed at Het Hulsbeek in Oldenzaal, though we could not confirm that it took place. The 2025 edition was planned at Otto Lilienthal Airfield in Stölln-Rhinow, Germany, and was cancelled.

Psy-Fi is a psytrance festival. Past editions combined the music with workshops, talks, a healing area and art installations. With no edition planned, there is no current line-up. Any future line-up would be announced on the official website and the festival's social channels.

Psy-Fi drew an international crowd, most of whom camped on site. For any news about its future, watch the official website and the festival's Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channels.

There is no current edition, so there is no travel information to give.

There is no current ticket sale. The 2025 edition was cancelled because of low presales, and no tickets for a new edition have been released.
