High Nature Festival: outdoor psytrance festival in Rio de Janeiro

I've been to High Nature myself, so let me clear one thing up first: this is an outdoor festival, not a club night. The Rio crew High Nature Produções has held it every year since around 2020, and the 2026 edition, billed as “6 anos”, is a big one. The crew calls it the biggest 100% psytrance event in Rio de Janeiro state — their claim, not a measured figure, but it tells you this is their main event of the year. If you're in Rio in December, I'd put it in the calendar.

The 2026 edition takes place at Clube Professorado Campestre, a sítio (country property). Don't let the name fool you: “Clube” is just part of the property's name, there's no nightclub involved — you dance outdoors. I couldn't find a verified address, so take it from the ticket page. The 2024 edition was listed in Rio's Zona Oeste (West Zone). December is summer in Rio, which is exactly when you want to be dancing under an open sky.

It's 100% psytrance — that's the promise. Line-ups, sub-genres and the number of stages weren't published in any source I could verify, so I won't pretend to know who's playing. What I can say: psytrance outdoors on a summer night in Rio is the setting this music was made for. Open sky, a dance floor, the bass — the music does the work if you let it. This is a local festival, made by Rio's psytrance scene for Rio's psytrance scene. The same crew runs Afterzinho Psyclub, which it bills as Rio's first psytrance club night, with monthly editions — so Afterzinho is the crew's club side, and High Nature is the yearly outdoor gathering where the scene comes together. Interesting detail: the 2026 edition offers a registration form for a kids' area. I can't say how it's run, but it tells you the crew is thinking about parents.

Flying in, you land at Galeão (GIG). The venue is a sítio, not a club in town, so check the exact address on the ticket page and sort out how you get there and back before the day. Things start at 20:00. It's outdoors in the Rio summer, so come prepared for a summer night under the open sky.

Tickets for the 6th edition were sold on Bilheteria Digital: R$ 180 full price (second batch) plus an R$ 18 fee, or R$ 90 half price. At the time of writing (October 2026), online sales were shown as ended, so keep an eye on that page or the crew's official link page. For an outdoor psytrance festival in Rio, that's a fair price in my book.
