Antaris Project: psytrance open air in Stölln, Germany
One of Germany's oldest psytrance open airs, founded in 1993 and held at the Gollenberg airfield in Stölln. Paused since founder Uwe Siebert died in March 2025; no new edition has been announced.
I've been to Antaris myself, and it's hard to write this page neutrally. Founded in 1993 by Uwe Siebert, it is one of Germany's oldest psytrance open airs: four days, around 10,000 people. After Siebert died in March 2025, the team cancelled that year's edition as a pause and said it was not a farewell. Whether it comes back, nobody can promise. I hope it does.
Location
Antaris took place on the Gollenberg airfield (Flugplatz am Gollenberg) at Stölln, in the Havelland area of Brandenburg. Rural, open-air ground with camping on site. Berlin would be the obvious big city to start from, but as long as there are no new dates, any travel planning is purely hypothetical.

Music
Musically, Antaris stood for goa and full-on, with darkpsy and chillout alongside. For a festival with roots in 1993, that goa backbone makes sense, and to me it was part of its charm. There is no future line-up, so there's nothing to check for now.
Community
Antaris drew a camping crowd with plenty of scene veterans. For me, that's what made it feel more like a reunion than an event. Losing the person who started it all in 1993 changes a festival like this, and I think the team was right to pause rather than simply carry on.
Travel
There is nothing to plan right now. If Antaris returns, expect a rural site where a car makes life easier; Berlin would be the logical city to fly into. I'd follow news on the official website and the Facebook page.
Tickets
There is no current ticket sale. No dates or tickets for a new edition have been published on the official website. If that changes, that's the place to look.
FAQ
- Is Antaris Project still happening?
- It is paused. After founder Uwe Siebert died in March 2025, the 2025 edition was cancelled; the team called it a pause, not a farewell. No new edition has been announced. Honestly, it may never return — but it hasn't been declared over either.
- Was there an Antaris in 2026?
- That's unclear. A final gathering in 2026 had been mentioned, but no dates or tickets were ever published on the official site, and one festival listing marks it as ended. I could not confirm that a 2026 edition took place.
